You are such a delight . . . whether sashaying in from the garage in 'dirty' cut off shorts, or being the fine hard working mother that you are, plus all you do for fellow authors! You are truly amazing! And I want some of that energy---back!
I don't think it's a good idea to have three to-do lists going, plus the grocery list and a little sticky note on my computer that just says "LAUNDRY." I think a better idea to go outside and sit on what little porch I have and see if I can count the number of grapefruit that are beginning to show up in the citrus tree. Thank you for reminding us to breath. Oh and...happy birthday! (FB told me)
Need this today as I woke up to a renter's confused message about a discount, then couldn't get the dog to walk, then lost my coffee (wha?!), then the painters came and dust went everywhere inside even though they were on the outside, then the fire extinguisher fell on my toe while trying to find the right paint that has disappeared (maybe it's with my coffee and that new offer the renter is looking for) and then on my way to home depot to buy the disappeared paint (again) almost getting hit by a car that seemed to think that it's okay to veer out of your own lane and into someone else's, then my audiobook giving up the ghost (maybe it's with the coffee and paint?). It's only 1:30pm so I'm sure there will be more, but it's the little things and I can't seem to get around the annoying things, but when I do I'm going to hug all the little things like my dog that luckily has not disappeared. At least not yet. I hope you know that you do MORE than enough! You amaze me how you still keep your sense of humor and do so much. Thankyou!
I know that feeling of, “not enough.” But I’ve learned to work with it- flip it. That whenever I start to feel “not enough,” I take a step back and “pivot,” and look at what I have done and feel grateful for that. The golden light of gratitude erases the “not enough,” blues every time.

Thanks so much Carole! And by the way, you have amazing energy! Also, I need to hear about your France trip!

Well that is quite a doozy of a day, Amy! Might be easier to look for the little things tomorrow. :)
You do plenty--and beautifully! You're like 💪🏻 and 🌻 and ♥️ all wrapped up in one amazing friend and mom. And writer! 😍
As are you, my friend, as are you. xxx
Love your photos of the little things that have brought you joy recently.
I hope to see you at the Local Author Showcase in January!
Kathy
I'll be there! Looking forward to seeing you!
Love your pictures and it IS the little things. We never feel like we're doing enough, I know. It sounds like you're doing plenty. Enjoy!
Thanks so much, Heidi!

You are a master of your mind, which is part of why I love you. xxx
